We inherit some of our personality traits from astrology, and as we grow, we learn more about our specific tendencies. So, it makes sense that there are zodiac signs who make the best detectives.
People who hate confrontation, are too impulsive, or have trouble making decisions would not be good detectives. Detectives have to make life or death decisions, and they have to give things some thought beforehand.
You have to have a gift for being able to read people. Is a suspect a little too comfortable? Why is that man so nervous? These are all important questions a detective will ask themselves while trying to solve a case.
Another good trait to have is good instincts, knowing when one line of questioning is a dead-end and if it’s time to go in another direction. Detectives need to be creative enough to adapt their investigation to the crime itself, the people concerned, and who they’re working with. But it’s not always a good idea for a detective to disobey the rules or think outside the box.
1. VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)
Detective work is something that most Virgos would thrive at, especially since so much of it is done by researching on the computer. Because they’re watchful and have an ability to notice the smallest detail, Virgos are able to catch clues that other people may overlook.
The more complicated the case, the better for them, because they love solving a good mystery. This zodiac sign is extremely intelligent and diligent, and they’re not going to make assumptions or do things half-assed just so they can say the case is solved. No, they’ll keep working the case, going over the clues carefully, and looking at the evidence with fresh eyes as often as possible.
2. SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)
Scorpios are naturally intuitive and they’re great observers of people. They have an instinct for getting information from non-obvious sources. They’re also extremely good at catching a liar.
Lie-detector tests can be inconclusive, but Scorpios have a sense when people are lying. Since they are good at keeping their own secrets, you know they wouldn’t let crucial information out that could wreck an investigation. Scorpios would never take anything at face value, but would go deeper and deeper until some vital truth was revealed.
3. GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)
Geminis know the right questions to ask a suspect, they know when to apply pressure on them, and when to sit back and let their confession spill out. Since Geminis are so versatile and good at role-playing, they’d be great undercover. They’d be able to stick to their backstory as if it were the truth, and they’d commit to their undercover role completely.
Geminis enjoy solving mysteries and puzzles, and it would excite them when the pieces started coming together. Their mental agility would be a big asset in helping them as detectives.
4. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)
Sagittarians would be good detectives because of their ability to engage with people, as well as their talent of being able to blend in anywhere. If Sagittarius had to travel all over the world as a detective, they’d enjoy that, but if they worked out of a police precinct or had their own detective agency, that would be good too.
There would be enough variety of cases and clients that would keep Sagittarius interested, and they’d also enjoy the physical aspects of being a detective, such as chasing a suspect.
5. CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)
Capricorns are used to hard work and putting in long hours. They don’t give up easily and are persistent, so give Capricorn the cold cases that nobody wants, and they’ll investigate it until they get some answers. They’re logical and would never allow their personal feelings to get in the way of solving a case.
Capricorns would follow protocol and work methodically. If the case meant making a lot of phone calls and leg work, they would do it without complaint. People underestimate Capricorn, but they’d have the last laugh when the suspects were incarcerated.
